Issue
Does not have sufficient system permissions
Summary
This error may be cause by insufficient main memory on the device. Windows Mobile 5.0 requires 2 times the memory required for the install even if the install is to the storage card. Installation was unsuccessful. The program or setting cannot be installed because it does not have sufficient system permissions.
Solution
- Soft Reset your device (press and hold power)
- Copy the install file to the Storage Card
- Start the installer from the Storage Card on the device.
Optionally you can remove other applications, files, pictures, or music on your device.
NOTE: Ensure 'Done' has been selected at the 'Installation was unsuccessful' screen otherwise the screen will be re-shown without starting the installation.
