Common ActiveSync Errors

Summary

ActiveSync is reporting an ActiveSync Synchronization Error, or ActiveSync Resolve Items

Solution

These issues can be resolved by simply un-connecting your device from the personal computer, and reconnecting it.

ActiveSync is reporting an ActiveSync Synchronization Error

If the issue still remains:

  1. Reboot your device
  2. Delete NoteSync.dll from the \Windows directory
  3. Unselect Notes sync from the device ActiveSync options
  4. Uninstall the device app
  5. Delete Mobile device from Desktop ActiveSync, and re-setup a partnership (Don't select Notes)
