Issue
Summary
Solution
When NoteSync completes synchronization of Outlook Notes from the desktop to the device, each Note become a Pocket Word Ink (PWI) file. Pocket Word Ink files can be opened using Notepad Mobile or the Windows Mobile Pocket PC Notes application.
Using Notepad Mobile you can use the ‘Save As’ command to change the file type to Text (.TXT), Unicode, or Pocket Word Ink (.PWI). Notepad Mobile 3.1 and above will also recognize and open Pocket Word Ink Files.
You may convert Pocket Word Ink files created or modified with Notepad Mobile, using the ActiveSync conversion functions to and from additional formats like Microsoft Word (.DOC), Rich Text Format (.RTF), and Ascii Text (.TXT).
NOTE: Editing PWI files with Notepad Mobile will remove all formatting and Ink data.
