Blank page shown by Reader Mobile with scanned PDF image or FAX
Summary
Image files and formatting are not displayed when files are opened by Reader Mobile. Reader Mobile was designed to reformat text for easy reading on a small screen.
Solution
Reader Mobile does not display embedded images is PDF files, making the display of some PDF files blank. For instance PDF files created by a scanner or a fax program will not display because they have no text, just embedded TIFF images.
Reader Mobile was designed to reformat text for easy reading on a small screen. The text in the PDF document is re-formatted to fit the device screen for easy reading.
Inline image support is a slated feature for the next major upgrade of Reader Mobile.
