The Scissors Mobile Edit Menu is not available while viewing, to be able to select text a cursor is required. The Scissors Mobile Edit Menu is only available while composing messages.
To copy text from a saved message
- Reply or Forward the message
- Mark the desired text
- Copy the text to the clipboard
- Cancel the new Message
